Stop it! It's called a philosophy, it is probably the only one that works at Iowa in the 2000's, Ferentz stuck to it and now everyone get down and thank the powers that be that no changes were made!!!!

In the end it worked... but I just wish we didn't have to come down to an onsides kick at every end.

We finished Purdue and Minny on offense well...

Defense didn't finish at minny.

This game the defense finished okay.

As long as it keeps bouncing our way.
 
nobody expects a mass firing right after a 12-0 season and that is exactly why the whole staff needs to go now!
 
Several people i know were at the game. Brutal cold and extremely windy. I think Iowa had the right game plan. Run the ball and don't turn the ball over (which we did except for King's dumb turnover)

Yeah maybe with the way the weather was it was just too risky to try to throw at all to get a first down.

...And force Armstrong into making poor decisions. I would say the gameplan worked out in that regards. Still scratching my head as to why KF didn't decline the holding call on third down. Pretty sure they would have punted instead of converting another 3rd.
