Lots of coaches will be are have been terminated. A number of them in the SEC. Here are some observations... some schools are probably too quick to pull the trigger on coaches.

I've heard it said that some fans and schools just don't know 'who they are' and they are stupid about their expectations for their program.

High Salary to get certain coach ---> Very High Expectations / often unrealistic expectations

Unrealistic Expectations ---> Rapid dissatisfaction / Rumor / Social Media Noise

Dissatisfaction ----> Hasty or poorly planned firings (Nebraska)

Coaching Churn and program disintegration

Coaching Churn causes a financial drain on the Universities

Your thoughts on this?

I was real surprised that ASU fired Graham. He had the team on the right track and has some good recruits. The guy even dropped a half a million of his own money on the stadium remodel. Then the AD said they hope to find a coach that will consider keeping Graham's assistants. That is just idiotic.

Graham got a lot of neg. P/R after he was a short timer at PITT then quickly moved on to ASU.

Gotta be honest here, I have zero information about his ability at this position. Is he qualified?

He is more than qualified. If he has to go out on the road and recruit that is a different matter. I have no idea what type of recruiter he is.

I'd say so. Nevermind his head coaching resume, but Rhoads has always coached a pretty decent defense. He was the DC at Pitt for a while until taking the ISU job.
