Didn't you really think that there wouldn't be games like this the first year. It's not like a coaching staff of 11 years laid an egg at Minnesota. There are going to be more like this. Iowa is going to struggle they have less talent there is no way around that. Small talent level and first year coach is going to lead to struggle.

Iowa is going to be bad with teams that get hot from the outside. Iowa has to give up something at this point its going to be the three. This team put up some good games this year Like OSU, but there are going to be bad games. We are a bad team why we hired a new coach. Its one game learn from it be upset about it push harder and go forward.

Yeah seems to add some sting to it, but Iowa's biggest weakness on defense is guarding the three.

I saw a thread titled "apathy", I think you should check it out...I'm sick of seeing, "We all knew there would be games like this" posts. That's ultimate apathy.

You didn't think there would be games like this? It's the ultimate apathy to admit what was obvious going into the season?

This doesn't mean we are happy about it. What it might mean is we have a realistic perspective of how this season would go, though we were hopeful of something better, maybe like ISU is doing.
