What are these "issues" that Deace brought up this morning, but wouldn't elaborate on? Did he run his mouth and then got backed into a corner? Or is there something there, that would require that Clayborn to be in IC next year?

The whole cab driver thing is fishy IMHO. It took the guy like two or three months after the incident to file the charges. My guess is AC pleads down to a lower charge and gets a slap on the wrist. Probably won't even miss any game time. Captain will probably just make him run some extra laps or carry the water jug around for a few days.

I've had a couple of run-ins, myself. Just arrogant.

Ferentz has stood behind Clayborn in this cab driver assault thing. Leads me to believe that Ferentz looked into it and thinks Clayborn is not at fault.

i guess i missed out on the cabbie assault thing. never heard about it. Maybe if these guys are arrogant, then maybe the cabbie and tucker issue was blown over too?

Maybe the UoI should think about starting their own cab company...maybe help cut back on all these issues the athletes seem to be having.

And Deace said that KF would be fired last year due to the trial of the two alleged sexual assaulters based on him having to testify at the November trial.

Clayborn WOULD NOT have to stay in Iowa City because of the cabbie incedent. He could just return home for the trial. I highly doubt his movements are restricted to Iowa City or even Iowa. It is not that serious of a charge.
