Has there ever been a worse performance by an Iowa qb that resulted in a win against a ranked opponent? I mean 8 completions for 66 yards a pick and a td is as bad as it gets. When I first saw CJ I thought he could be the next Long but with running ability. Now he is slow, off target on all throws and can't sense pressure. What's wrong with him? Don't tell me Ferentz because most coaches in the country would've benched him by now and it's not all Davis because guys were open alot last night and CJ wasn't even close.

Did you watch the game? CJ got no time to throw the ball, about 1.5 seconds was the best I seen. That interception at the end would have been a touchdown had he not had a Michigan defender all over him. He is also without his 2 best receivers in Vandeberg and Kittle. Right now our best passing play is a screen to Wadley.

Oh and he didn't look all that slow when he rushed up the middle for a 1st down at the end of the game. Michigan had a timeout remaining and I would have hated to see them get the ball back with ~30 seconds left on the clock.

You are both right.

52 yards of which were YAC by Wadley.

Yes CJ didn't have time, but missed opportunities still. Wide open Smith early, behind Falconer on 2-point, high to open McCarron, and late on the interception

I agree with this..

But CJ Is slower than Molasses!! Hey good for him being able to find that 2nd gear at the end of the game. In my view CJ has never fully recovered from last years Sports Hernia.

He's just a fraction slow with decisions, both to throw and to run.

Just a little hesitant, not sure why.

Confidence. all I got. he had it last year, especially when to run.

Gotta be some truth here. when he had the designed run without a decision to make, he had a burst.
