Really like this guy, highlights show great cover skill and a sneaky ability to pick off passes, plus he hits as hard as he can ala Bob Sanders. Might have the same issues with health hitting like that but man, good looking player.Seems like a Phil Parker Special type of guy
The fact that they've been in contact with him for what seems like forever makes me optimistic too. We know they like to slow play guys if they can keep them under the radar.Really like this guy, highlights show great cover skill and a sneaky ability to pick off passes, plus he hits as hard as he can ala Bob Sanders. Considering we return 4 corners with multiple career starts and DJ Johnson I would guess his chances of early play time at corner aren’t good nor are they needed.Awesome highlight tape. Could he play right away at corner?

I like our current guys too, but I think IowaTeddy has a point. We've played at least 1 true freshman at CB each of the last 3 years (Rugamba, Hankins, Moss and Brents).Considering we return 4 corners with multiple career starts and DJ Johnson I would guess his chances of early play time at corner aren’t good nor are they needed.
Based on his highlights, I'd say he could compete for playing time come next fall. He's big, athletic, fast, and confident. We played multiple corners this year that don't check all of those boxes.
I would like to see OJ slide back to safety, but my top 3 corners would be Hankins, Brents, and DJ. That has the potential to be a very solid group.I like our current guys too, but I think IowaTeddy has a point. Phil definitely isn't afraid to throw the young guys in there if he thinks they have the stuff.
