Check out this mock draft...

I’ve seen Fant and Hockensen both projected to the Packers. As a Packers fan I’d rather have Hock but I’d rather have one Hawk than none!!

This is actually the second mock draft I've seen that had Hock going to GB at 12. I could see the Packers taking either Hock or Fant, but, I'd be surprised if they had Hock rated as a top 12 pick. Either way, they haven't had an impact TE since Finley. It's about time they find somebody.

If they stay at 12, my guess would be an edge rusher, then probably a TE or safety at 30. At the 30 spot, I really like the junior Florida S Gardner-Johnson. Very underrated player, IMO. I've seen him play a few times and I love his game.

I could also see them using that 30 pick to trade up for someone like Josh Allen. Hard to say what they'll do, since they also need OL players in a huge way, and with Wilkerson's injury and lack of DT depth, I could see one of the solid DTs this draft becoming a target as well. It will be interesting to see what happens, but I don't see their new GM trading down as much as Thompson did.

Trade Rodgers, get some nice, young players. Plan for the future. Not going anywhere with the salary cap hit and his antics.

Had this talk with a buddy ... trade Rodgers to the Giants. Rodgers, Barkley, and Beckham would be fun. Packers get picks to start over. :)

The trades will be crazy this year. Oakland is a wild card. It’ll be interesting to see after the combine
Yeah trades and what teams fall in love with QBs are the huge X factors that makes the draft so fun and unpredictable. Nobody thought the Bears were going to trade up for Trubisky the way they did a couple yrs ago. Someone will rock the boat I bet to trade up for Murray earlier than most think. The top 3 or 5 teams aren't looking for a QB so plenty of incentive to trade down.

A declining star player like Rodgers, sucking up a huge amount of the salary cap, making faces at his receivers when they "fail him." A few years of average, good enough to not get the top draft picks.

Perfect replacement for Eli. :)
