Cheaters rule the NCAA

Last night's painful to watch victory by UCONN completed a sweep of the two NCAA major revenue sports by cheaters.

Auburn, coached by Cheatdick, and led by the highest paid quarterback in the South other than Drew Brees, ruled the college football world.

Now crooked Calhoun and UCONN(or is that you con) sit atop college basketball. Of course the coach has to serve a suspension next year for NCAA rule violations.

So kiddies, forget that your parents told you "Cheaters never win and winners never cheat!"
That is in fantasyland. In the real world of NCAA sports, a coach buys great players, wins the NCAA championship and then leaves town for the NFL before the posse gets to town.

Funny how major college sports mimicks the real world.
SUCCESS=CHEATING THE RIGHT WAY not living the right way.

Calhoun will retire then UConn will go on probation and someone else will have to deal with the fallout.

F*** the NCAA. everything is considered cheating. Remember when Boise States recruit died and they were so scared to call, send flowers or say his name to the press.

If the NCAA didnt have so many gay rules no one would have to cheat.

You are correct sir. And what goes on at the college level makes politicians laugh out loud. American voters don't demand integrity because too many of them believe it shouldn't even be a GOAL if it skewers their sacred cow! Pathetic and sad. I thought Nixon's impeachment would lead to more integrity - instead it made honorable people feel like fools for playing by the rules.

As much as alot of people want to believe in integrity, justice and the right to have a fair opportunity in this world its nothing but BS. Essentially those ideals are nothing more than handicapping yourself. Take everything you can get,lie ,cheat, steal whatever but have good reasoning for it and your fine.(see politicians). Just don't be too obvious o brag too much or there may be enough backlash to get in trouble unless of course you have really done well then you can afford to buy your way out of anything.
I am ashamed to think that nothing has changed at all since man began walking the earth other than the lines of BS the majority will listen to and accept as good reasoning.

Butler Hoops Team Under Investigation - AP

INDIANAPOLIS -- Butler 's run in the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship Game may be tarnished after reports surfaced today that all 13 players on the roster are being given good educations in an effort to help them find good jobs after they leave the school. "It's important to remember that right now these are only allegations -- allegations that we are looking into," said NCAA president James Isch.

"But, obviously, if true, this would be very disappointing. The NCAA has certain expectations and standards. It's not fair for players at one school to be given good educations while athletes at other member schools receive basic, remedial instruction that is worth essentially nothing." According to documents seized from the school's registrar's office, Butler players have received an education worth $38,616 per year totaling more than $150,000 over a four-year career.

Compare that to a player at a school like Kentucky or Nebraska , where tuition is set at $4,051 -- but with an actual value far below that. “We don't want to say too much until these reports are confirmed," said Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari. "But we're talking about almost $140,000 difference in education per player -- and that's even if my players stayed four years or graduated, which many of them do not. Then these Butler players are reportedly stepping into good jobs after graduation while my kids, if they don't make the NBA, have absolutely no job prospects or life skills. It's far from a balanced playing field. They are buying the best players by giving them a high-priced education."

In addition to the allegations that they were given an expensive education, many Butler players have been spotted around campus holding books, studying and engaging in interesting conversations. Others have been seen with people who are known to not be tutors. Butler point guard and Kentucky native Ronald Nored, who is reportedly a secondary education major, denied allegations that the Bulldog program is cheating.

"The discourse on this matter is fatuous and inane," he said, implicating the program further.
