Charles Godfrey released

In a move I didn't see coming the Carolina Panthers released Charles Godfrey. This one surprised me. I thought he was one of their most consistent defensive backs. I know their was some talk in another thread but I didn't realize things had gotten this bad.

They moved him from safety to corner and he was getting worked by the #1 WR's...no suprise really

He was never able to bounce back from his Achilles injury in 2013, lost his speed and quickness
