Change in Hall of Fame threshold

The threshold for making the College Football hall of fame as a head coach has been lowered from 60% to 59.5%. This change was done mainly to get dearly departed Mike Leach into the hall.

But this could be good news for Kirk Ferentz as well. Ferentz has an overall winning percentage of 59.8% entering 2025.

The thing about KF is that he is so understated, its hard to achive fame for being understated with a 59.8% winning pct. His program is known for toughness and consistency though. and a few other things we won't mention.

When Kirk retires, they'll lower it to whatever % they need to in order to make sure the Big Ten coach with the most all-time wins in the conference makes the Hall of Fame.
