I know, but I'd love it for him to get any AA recognition. It would be a great honor for a great and seemingly very humble person.

Rittenberg seems to like him a lot, so his trumpeting of McNutt's skills should help in this, at least to some extent.

Is there a Big10 "best-receiver" prize (there's a TE award, so I imagine there is one for the Big10). Think he'll win that?
 
How many drops does McNutt have? 15? That cant help. Curious to know the numbers of drops for the top 3 going for the award. Maybe thats the difference.

IIRC, Blackmon has some as well. He's by far the most talented WR in the nation, but he displays a lack of concentration and discipline at times.
 
McNutt and AJ Jenkins of Illinois will be All Big 10 first teamers from both coaches and media, and it won't be a contest. A few weeks ago, I would say Jenkins had the slight endge as best WR, but his team's complete implosion will rob him of any serious post season recognition.

Good point. So does Marv have the Big10 WR award (the so-called "Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year") locked down?
