Come on- I dont get the lovefest with the coaches, yeah I thought Miller, Olson and Mr. Davis were great but I didnt idolize them or need to see them in 10 minute interviews about them on TV. Same thing with Fran.

Short interviews with coaches just ahead of or after games is enough.

Why do I want to watch shows about guys who many times are cheaters, whiners, crybabies, etc and who many times dont give a crap about their players off the court.

You must lay awake nights trying to think of stupid things to say...or, those comments just come naturally to you.

I dont lay awake at night but when I saw the promo for this set of shows CBS was putting on it made me say those "stupid" things.

If you think calipari, pitino Sr, tark the shark, bob huggins at Cincy (where he had a graduation rate of less than 10%) are really role models and top notch guys then "dont stop believing". And there are more of them, Alford was only thinking of Wins with the Pierce case.

I think Iowa has been lucky to have mostly really good men as head coaches. Dont think you can get much better than gable. Mr. Davis is a learned man and a nice man from everything I heard.

I would sure like to see the TV cameras spend a lot less time on the coaches and more on the players.

At halftime of the Michigan - Michigan State game, an announcer started the segment thanking Boeheim for giving them something to talk about.....

I muted the TV because I thought they were going to give Boeheim a pass that Fran would certainly not get.....

YEah Boeheims press conference he was all jokes about how fast he could run on the court and he still had it. I like his humor but here in Iowa Fran got roasted.

OK...I get it. I do not disagree with your statements in this post. Apologies for my initial reaction.
