"The 16-team field consists of teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament. Teams are invited based upon performance during their conference and non-conference schedules, as well as how well the team is playing at the end of the regular season."
Losing to PSU does not bode well for that last clause but what is minimum for Iowa qualify? With a couple quality wins and playing in the B1G, is beating Nebraska and NwU (the only plausible W's left) to finish the year 15-16 enough?
(As I type this, Iowa has clawed back to within 5 -- I made this prediction, that they would get down 12, pull within 4 with 8 minutes to go, yet still lose by 12 - 14. Even if they beat PSU, is a .500 record good enough to make the CBI?)
