After a year in the system and in getting used to B10 play, who do you expect Cartwright and Basabe to be comparable next season with respect to overall impact?
 
I think they could compare to Woolridge/Bowen from 96-97 at least statistically. Bowen was at 11.8 ppg, 9.1 rpg that year, stats Basabe could definitely exceed. Woolridge scored 20.2 ppg, which is a stretch for Cartwright, but BC could exceed the 6 apg and 2.7 rpg that Woolridge put up.
 
I think both are All Big 10 next year. MB will almost certainly be 1st Team Freshman.

A stud JUCO big next year and it will be like we haven't lost a step.

Is Mel a sure thing for first team on the freshman team? I know Sullinger will be ahead of him. Are there any other freshman frontline players making an impact this year?
