To Boston to join newly acquired Adrian Gonzalez. It looks like the Tampa Bay Rays will suck again. Not only Carl Crawford, but supposedly there are many other key players in free agency this offseason. Very early and already some huge moves are being made and a lot of dough being spent.

The Rays will not "suck" again. They still have arguably the best pitching staff in baseball, including AL Cy Young runner-up David Price, who has still not reached his enormous potential. They still have one of the best young players in the game in Evan Longoria. And they will try and replace CC with one of the game's top prospects, Desmond Jennings, who just so happens to be a clone of the man he is (trying to)replacing. In a tough division they will be hard-pressed to make the playoffs, but they shouldn't dip below .500.

One think you don't have to worry about with the Rays is their ability to replace talent. They have possibly the best farm system in the game. Not to say they won't drop off a little this year, but with the way they run that organization, I don't think we will see them sink to the levels that they were back in the 90's and first half of this decade.

All of that said, anybody else sick of seeing all the best talent go to the Red Sox and the Yankees?

Yes, on ESPN today they said the Sox are trying to beat the Yankees by becoming the Yankees. And i really hate the yankees, and now sox.
