Captain Kirk on The Afternoon Saloon?

Did anyone catch this? I guess he was on at 3:30 but didn't catch it. If anyone heard it and wants to add any input on what he/they said or any other tidbits, it'd be much appreciated.

I did and he was the Kirk we all know and love. Soft spoken, articulate and of course the dry humor. Harry asked Kirk about the Mich St. coach heart attack incident and the stress that is onn coaches. After wishing Coach DiAntoni well, Kirk made Carmen, Jurko, and Harry all laugh out loud with his comment, "he doesn't know so much about stress in his job but his wife bought more life insurance on him"
He is great ambassdor for the University and college football in general. We are lucky to have him at Iowa.
Go Hawks!

What is Afternoon Saloon and do they have a podcast. I assume it is a radio show? But for what station?

WMVP 1000 in Chicago.

Decent show. If you're a college football fan in Chicago this is the one to listen to. They still are a Bears analysis overload like everyone but they at least will give it a segment or two per show.

I prefer Waddle and Silvy, but Afternoon Saloon is good too. They're a bit more chummy and it has a bit more of a locker room feel to it. I think if you go to espnradio.com you may be able to get a podcast or stream today's show.
