I like having a Bowl game in Orlando but isn't there any other stadiums that the Big Ten could play in.The stadium needs a face lift.We all know the area isn't the best either. Can't our conference put pressure on the Bowl committee if they want to keep us.Your thoughts.

They laid brand new grass on that field about two weeks ago. Then played five game on the grass before the Capi One Bowl game. They said on the ESPN, that they would be installed synthetic grass for next year. So next year, at least the surface will be improved.

I liked watching the game on that field TBQH. Reminded me of an old fashioned Big Ten pummeling. It probably slowed down LSU as well.

I hate the fake stuff. Its like football in the mud is a bad thing now? No...football is a sport that is played within the weather and field conditions. Deal with mud and rain. Deal with cold and snow. Its a part of the game. I can't wait until the day comes that Iowa reinstalls grass in Kinnick.

When a player gets tackled on a football field....his jersey should get grass stains.

What you are referring to is one thing, the conditions on that field were another thing...the mole hills and divots on that field were ridiculous and definitely could cause an injury...

Since I live in Oralndo area during winter they have been talking about upgrades for years and new turf will not believe it till it is on the ground. Worst stadium for any major sporting event. Needs a total renovation or new stadium all together. Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinal wrote a great article on it this mornings paper. It is also located in the worst area of Orlando the city should hook up with Disney and build a new stadium with them and expand more games for neutral site college football games, and other professional games like pro bowl and Jax home games.

With the money that the school is saving in maintenance costs, you'll be waiting a long time. The new field is fine.

Thanks for the reply. We all could see how bad the field was but I also would like to see changes in the seats and the rest of the facilities.

If Citrus Bowl gets renovations it can keep hosting CapOne. But Champs Sports should go to UCF's new stadium - it seats around 46K, which about what Champs Sports attendance max's out at
