Canzeri A Hawkeye!

a lot of running backs. does this confirm that arob will not be welcome back? Or are we hedging our bets with the RB gods?

Here is the "math" ... even prior us losing Wegher, ARob, and Hampton, logic dictated that we should take on 2 RBs.

Given how we've gotten "stung" by having a lack of experienced depth at RB ... the coaches obviously do not want that to happen again. Thus, it seems to me that there is a clear possibility for around 2 TR FR to contribute at RB in 2011. Don't get me wrong, I anticipate that Coker will be a starter ... however, I think that we'll see some young guys be prepped to step up.

Furthermore, a number of our RB recruits are rather versatile ... and versatile in varying ways too.

versatile in varying ways, is that like Norm saying Missouri was different like Georgia Tech, but different than Georgia Tech's different?

LOL! Exactly!

- Coe could easily project at LEO LB or DE just as well as he projects at RB.
- At least one of the RB recruits projects at safety. (not unlike Hitchens)
- Canzeri projects at RB/WR/DB ... and he could be dangerous as a return-specialist too.
