Can't dog crap 3 straight home games, right?

UM is going to be a stiff challenge, but I just cannot see Iowa playing poorly at home 3 games in a row. Good teams just do not do that. Am hopeful......

You really don't think this bunch of losers can't pull off 3 straight dog crap games. I think you're selling them short. This is probably one time they can actually rise to the challenge and come through.

MN...10 minutes ago you posted in another thread that we are going to go 4-4 the rest of the way. Now you're hopeful we'll beat Michigan. I find these 2 lines of thinking to be contradictory.

It would frankly be a BIGGER stunner if they don't drop another steaming turd in CHA.

Yeah this. Like ya'll, you want it so bad for the Hawks and it rips your guts out when things aren't going how they could.

Iowas capable of beating Michigan or anyone else in the country. Hopefully, Michigan will come in overconfident, and Iowa will be more relaxed than in their last game. I think some of Iowas players have been taking their rankings and the game to seriously. When you aren't relaxed and you try to hard, it can make things more difficult.

Hawks must play better d in this game against Meechigan or they will lose — and it will be a dog crap game.

How can a player relax knowing Mad Fran is about ready to blow a gasket sometime during the game and give the other team FT's.

Can you blame Fran for being mad when he has to watch this garbage on the court twice a week? Wouldn't be surprised if Fran pulls a Lickliter and fakes an illness just to be done with this year.

To win this game, Fran is going to have to trim the rotation to 7-8 guys. More time for Mike, Gabe, Mel, Dev, Woody, limited time for Sapp, Uthoff, Oglesthree, McCabe. Give Jok some early and frequent relief minutes. Greenlight Mike and Peter to shoot.

Michigan is coming off of a rolling of Nebraska. Iowa is coming off of their worst home game of the year. I am expecting a defensive intensity comparable to the Sparty game. Now hopefully they can make a three before shooting 11 or 12 of them

Yon should rise to the challenge and change your user name. If you can't appreciate and respect the effort these guys are putting forth on and off the court you are no Hawk Fan. Free up the user name for a real fan and go spend your pathetic free time watching the NBA.

I also expect a defensive war. In their first game against the Hawkeyes, the Michigan point guard played about 2 minutes and was a non-factor. He's back and he's very quick and playing with confidence. Gesell will have his hands full guarding him, while Marble will probably get most of the guarding time on Stauskas.

I think the Hawkeyes will try to work the ball inside and get Woodbury and Basabe more involved early in the game in the paint or near the paint on the offensive end. But if they get good looks on the outside like they did against Ohio State, I don't think they should pass them up. And that includes McCabe.

That freshman coming off the bench for Michigan, Zack Irvin, has been hot lately, so that's another challenge for the the Hawkeyes perimeter defenders.

I think the keys to the game will be the defense on Stauskas, Walton, and Irvin and how well White plays. If he has another shaky game on the offensive end, it will not be a good outcome for the Hawkeyes.

McCaffery will have a solid plan and the boys will be fired up and ready to play some of that smothering defense we have seen in the past.
