Cyclowns host #1 Oklahoma at Hilton tonight. Should they win, that would be three teams from Iowa beating three #1 teams in the same season. Can any other state claim that? Or did I jinx them bad enough not to worry about it?

UNI 71, #1 North Carolina 67 on 21 Nov

Iowa 83, #1 Michigan State 70 on 29 Dec

ISU ??, #1 Oklahoma ?? on 18 January

I say yes, isu gets the win tonight, although i agrss with last post, rather see them lose. Disappointing team has been UNI, they havent lived up to expectations at all so far this year.

No way ISU wins this....thin, thin, thin on the bench...Niang will be sucking wind all game.....not even close Okie by 11

I don't think ISU wins but I'll be rooting for them..... Until I hear a fan yelling bullsh*t to every call that goes against them. Then I'll probably start rooting for okie pretty heavily.

so before the first tv timeout

About time they get a win, kind of embarrassing for them in last place in the Texas ten at 1-3. Now back to 500. Good for them. Baby steps. Did you see the end of the game when monte "pro" Morris got fouled? Big brother c cupper George's frantically runs over, looking strongly into montes eyes "look at me, look at me." I've seen less drama in a World Cup game. The Booing McRonald's are an embarrassment.

As an Iowa fan, you should be happy ISU beat OU. That only helps Iowa.

It doesn't matter to me one way or the other if they win. I was watching because it was close at the end...same as Northwestern at Maryland. I wanted Northwestern to win but I was watching because it was close.

Bottom line...Iowa doesn't need any help. If Iowa State loses every game the rest of the season it won't impact Iowa much...especially if we win the Big 10. Iowa is doing just fine on their own.

At this point in the year, ISU and Iowa doing well only helps each other's rpi.

We lost the game, so it isn't like it is going to help us much. I'd rather see ISU finish with and RPI of like 70 and miss the NCAA. That still won't hurt us at all, as like I said we lost the game, it doesn't give us a big bounce like winning the game would have
