Not sure what you are talking about because if Maryland wins we are still tied for first with 1 loss.

I cant remember how long ago the hawks were in this position.

Pretty sure Andre Woolridge's senior year (1996-97), Iowa won their first 5 or 6 games.

I was thinking Iowa was tied with Illinois & MSU in the 2000-01 season at 6-2, the mid-way point (only 16 conference games at that time). Then Luke Recker went down with that knee injury.

The 2005-06 team was also either tied or alone in first place briefly pretty far into the season, but don't remember exactly how far in that was.
