He would be a nice get but I hope the young man gets a 2nd chance at BYU. God knows he is to good of a person to transfer to ISU.

But there has to be more to this story right? I could maybe understand suspension a few games but to be kicked off the team? Do Mormons not believing forgivens of sin? And aren't they the ones that believe its alright to have multiple wives?

However, this is not the first time an athlete has been dismissed for these reasons at BYU. The starting running back was kicked out of school a year or two ago for the same reason. I believe his girlfriend was Moeaki's sister, who was an athlete as well. The code of contact at BYU is harsh, but it's not like all of their athletes don't know this going in to the programs there.

I actually appreciate that BYU sticks to their code of conduct. Not many schools would have the all-around support or resolve to do this. Really shows how the prioritize.
Now, that being said, bring him on! IC has a strong LDS history and we have had LDS players succeed at Iowa! Go East young man!
