BYU and Boise St. are both good enough to be in the PAC 10.

Boise State isn't good in anything but football and has a very poor academic standard...the Pac 10 won't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

The Pac 10, thanks to the Berkeley-ites, will never accept a religiously based university like BYU into its ranks. The Big 12 is the most likely destination for BYU.

Interesting, considering that most of what has been written today has said that they'll be independent in football, but be in the WAC for everything else.

That being said, a conference like the WCC would make sense as well. The Big 12 is not in any position to offer anyone an invitation.

BYU's plans to utilize the WAC to help their independent plans took a big hit with Fresno St. and Nevada bolting for the MWC. BYU should just stay in the MWC and work out a deal in which they have their own network. If they go independent they're not going to have nearly as easy a time as Notre Dame does filling their schedule and they won't get the same bowl deals as ND.
