Now that we're thru Sept. Sitting 4-0 who's buying into the Hawkeye team this year before we start the BIG 10 games. I'm Buying into this team, even if they have a hiccup I think they will have a good year under this coaching staff. Hats off to the whole team for making some of us believers again. Let's kick Wisconsins butt.Go Hawks

Well I am always a big hawkeye fan. I somewhat understand what happened the last half of 2010 and last half of 2012. I thought the season last year was underwhelming but I have bought into the hawks this year for many reasons.

Offense is running screens and delayed draws, more action in run blocking, quicker running backs, very good passing game, and I like some of the reverse action in formations.

Defense is handling the run pretty well (I think that scatback, quick runner for N Texas gave them fits with quickness), line and lbkrs holding the edge pretty well, generally good pass coverage but maybe playing too much zone coverage and too many lbkrs in coverage on third and long.

I'm buying.

The he only thing I don't like is that quick pass to Vandeberg in the flat. He can't make a corner miss. I'd like that play much better to Tavaun. But I understand the play and personnel. Just don't like it.

Otherwise, I'm really surprised by this performance. Way above my expectations. And we get our stud TE back soon.

Depth worries me some. We need to avoid injuries.

Leasing, with a buy option derivative.

Happy with what I've seen thus far, very happy.

Prior to the season, really had no idea what to expect, but I said, all things considered, an 8 win season would be pretty good, with 9 wins as a great year...again, all things considered given the unknowns.

I'll stay with that. If we can pull off a win Sat, which is very possible with a well played game, I will likely switch to 9-10 wins.

That all said, things have looked great, and a ton of that has to do with CJ.

If you are investing for a good season, keep the stock.

If you are investing for the Big Ten Title Game now, likely sell the stock, or hold based on the outcome of the Wisconsin game.

only actual team Iowa's played is pitt. Let's wait a few more games before we see if Pitt is for real in the ACC, which is basically the big 10 west.

If you want to buy low and sell high, now's the time. If they somehow beat Wisconsin at home next week, their stock skyrockets.

I would be a buy, keep it for a year and sell just before the start before the Wisconsin games next year. Next year gets tougher.
