In sports, superstisions do exist. The yellow uni's are bad luck. Yellow uni's no more...ever.

They use to be for rare occassions...did we not wear them after Chris Street's death?
I think a public burning could bring the Hawkeye Nation together after the week we've had.
I've been supporting this a while. While I'm not a superstitious person by nature, those gold uni's have given me a bad feeling all year. Can't explain it really. They also wore them against Nebraska early in conference play and the Hawks played poorly in that game although it was a win all be it an ugly win.
The next game I see them wearing them I'm turning off. They need to be in the white uni's the remainder of the season when they're the home team.
Please, I beg of you Hawks to pack the gold uni's away never to be seen again this year.

I believe Iowa was wearing them when they beat the Fab 5, first home game after Street's death. The game @MSU that year too, IIRC.
Of course, those were more like GOLD uniforms, not yellow. Gotta make them gold, and then they will work. We could also consider holy water...
This is not 1993. Diufferent time, different players, different coach and I'm assuming here these are different gold uni's?
These particular gold uniforms makes it look like we have 5 tweety birds on the court. Of course tweey bird always got the best of the cat. With thatg said in theory we could have wore them against Northwestern as they're the Wildcats.
