last nite the Bulls capped a 7 game western road trip by winning their 5th straight vs the rising NO Hornets in OT.
According to NBA Fastbreak, the Bulls are the first team in NBA history to ever win 5 straight games,on the road, vs teams with winning records.
Now, granted, not that many teams ever have this opportunity, and it is a bit hard to believe that the 97 Bulls (72-10) did not do this, but they probably never faced 5 winning teams in a row on the road.
Nevertheless, it is an impressive feat. This is a fun team to watch the last month, with Rose now healthy,Ty Thomas healthy, Hinrich healthy, ...and the rotation set. If they stay healthy, they will have a shot at moving into the 5th slot in the East, and maybe catch the aging Celts again in the playoffs...that would be fun.
