The pick for the Wisconsin/Iowa game Saturday seems very simple. The Badgers are slight favorites on the spread. Who will win?

It's not an invalid look at the game on paper especially. He fails to point out some of the facts though. The thrashing they took from Illinois, and we frankly should have won the game, and on the road no less. Their offense was just as lifeless as the Hawks early. I would have to give Iowa the edge defensively, but I see where he thinks a good defense will completely shut the Hawks down. Many Hawk fans feel the same. I think Petras has a chance to really silence the critics this weekend, or reignite them.

When your teams marque win this year is over 6-3 Maryland......and Maryland's marque performance is only a 7 point loss to Michigan....I wouldn't bet the farm on Wisconsin

Let us not forget that while we played Illinois close, they lost their QB early in the game and completely blew goats on offense once Shitkowski came in. We could have easily lost that game by 10+.

If the spread is as much of a joke as this guy says it is then the Vegas money would be rolling in on Wisconsin and we should be seeing that line move.
