Building for the next 2 years

This year has been rough, but I think the future is bright. We lost 2 starting lineman and replaced them with freshmen--freshmen who have significant upshots. D-Line is all coming back minus Bazata. Nelson and AJ will be terrors on the end over the next two years. Hopefully we get Nixon for the middle. Toren Young will be very good--should be playing over Butler in my opinion. Kid from Chicago will be good too. Tight Ends are solid. WR's need work but are improving--I like the coach. Ihmir is a budding star. Stanley could really be something special too...seems like he's starting to dial in his long range accuracy...and what an arm... DB's should be stellar. Hooker's going to be a good one. I think Brian Ferentz will learn from this year. He's got a bit of an ego, but I think he works hard at his craft.

Wirts/Jackson have to continue to develop and more importantly stay healthy..19 years into this we know what a healthy o-line means. It means everything. Potential book end NFL tackles could be special.

won't matter as long as Iowa pointlessly tries to run up the middle and gets stuffed.
Yeah, it's rather difficult to be optimistic about a BF led offense at this point; also a defense that loses 3 senior starting linebackers.

What kills me is back to back games now Iowa has come out with solid looking first drives. Then they resort to their old dullard ways for the rest of the game.
