Buffaloes and the B1G today

Don’t look now folks, but the Hawks are staring down the barrel at a 6-0, maybe even an 8-0, start. Penn State and Michigan are both incredibly beatable this season. Aren’t teams supposed to improve from week one to week two? Frankly, at this point, if the Hawks are worse than 7-1 headed into the game in Madison, I’ll be disappointed, anything worse than 6-2 is unforgivable. A really tough schedule is looking manageable.

The game in Ames is looking more difficult than the Michigan trip. Plus Iowa gets them right after Wisconsin which will beat them up a bit.

I wish I could be that optimistic, but getting into the meat of the B1G season the Hawks can’t keep being just a second half team. We’re not going to see the B1G teams make the same mistakes that Buttgers and Miami made, and they definitely aren’t going to gift us with 2nd or even 3rd chances with penalty freebies like we’ve been getting.

The out route shit has to stop, Stanley has to clean up the overthrows, and I’d love to see some split backfield stuff with Sargent and Goodson. Those two guys are reeeeaaaal close to Wadley/Daniels and we all know what those two did to defenses.

Tennessee just lost to BYU wow those fans have to be melting down
