OK guys, latest installment is out. And if you are a Hawk fan, you just got fed a load of BS. All author talks about is the Hawks weak ooc schedule and if they miss the dance they have that to blame.

Are you kidding me!!! What a load. How is 3rd place in the conf. and RPI of 30 questionable? If they were sitting at 60 maybe I could relate.
This is last season's argument, we are over that crap now. MN seems to get more props than Iowa in the article. The team we just killed last month.

Total disrespect, I'm mad now. Go out and kick some IU tail Hawks!

Bah! Iowa is not a bubble team. They're a solid at-large playing for seed at this point.

These people must still think it's the 2012-13 season.

Only a crazy person thinks we're on the bubble (even with the "should be in caveat")

Agree with all of you. I think we at WORST split the last 6 and that alone more than punches the ticket.

Lose out and it's very possible that you've still lost only to top-100 teams. We'd still have a solid resume as far as quality wins goes. Still in.

We're not losing out though so we're more than a lock.

I would not worry about this. Too many analysts on the internet these days that don't have a clue. The only qualification that some of these people have is a keyboard.

Absolutely true but if you are making articles for ESPN, shouldn't you be a little better at your job? Obviously that's not the way it works and obviously they care more about clicks then good reporting as any for-profit news company would but you're going to get clicks anyway on a site about the bubble, you may as well know what you're talking about but I suppose the less teams you say are "in" the more controversy you create and the more you have people angrily linking to your website on message boards (or in this case angrily seeking out your website)

Andy Katz dropped Iowa 8 spots in his power ranking from last week. Iowa played one game on the road at PSU and won by 12. So they don't know what they are talking about anyways
