BT championship game

Saw this on the ESPN blog, I didn't know Martinez is such a fumble fingers:

Nebraska has fumbled 32 times this season, with its opponents recovering 20, the second most in the FBS. Martinez has the most fumbles (14) in the FBS this season. It is the third straight season that he had the most or tied for the most fumbles in the FBS.

And yes Iowa gets a mention:

Wisconsin has lost just 11 turnovers on the season, matching Iowa for the fewest in the Big Ten and tying for the fourth-fewest nationally. Only Ohio (8), Pittsburgh (8) and Kansas State (9) have fewer giveaways than UW this season.

I'd set the odds of T-Magic being drafted at about 10,000,000:1.

And Tmag does not fail to deliver in the championship game - Sacked three times, fumbled twice, losing one and throwing a pick six as well.

I'm having a hard time grasping the concept of a 5 loss Wisconsin playing in the Rose Bowl.

I'm having a harder time getting over the fact that they put up 70 on Nebby. Whatever happened to a program that prided itself on defense. I knew they were going to give up points and yards, but damn.

Thats any easy answer, this team is the least talented team we've had since Pelini has been here. As a matter of fact, I can't remember a less talented Nebraska team in my lifetime. Sure, we have good talent at the skill positions on offense, and we have 4 or 5 pretty solid CBs/Nickles, but the rest of the team has little talent. 5 of our top 8 OLs are former walkons, the one good DT we had got hurt against Iowa, and we had to move DEs inside to play. Our LBs are slow and don't tackle all that well, along with our safeties. We have almost no depth and little top notch talent. In his first 2-3 years, Bo's recruiting classes weren't all that good, and I hope he has done some things to straighten out the problems in those years. We had a terrible recruiting coordinator, and Bo put more of his effort into fixing the team, not recruiting.

We were out coached and outplayed. UW played Bo's defense like a fiddle, and it ended as an azz-kicking of epic, embarrassing proportions.
