Bruce Bochy's head

I've always heard that this guy has one of the biggest, if not the biggest head of any player in MLB history, but after looking up a couple of things, I found that his hat size is 8 3/4" (and has been since he was a rookie). Most hat manufacturers make fitted hats ranging from 6 3/4-7 3/4. Barry Bonds head grew to from a 7 1/8 to a 7 1/2 according to one source (he also went from having hair to going bald. Other sites were similar in comparison).

When Bochy came up to the majors in '82, the Mets didn't have a helmet big enough for him, so they had to sit him until they could get an old one from his minor league team.
