made the sports on the TV news here in Kansas City today. Just thought I would pass it along. The lady newscaster said, "He should have at least got a million dollars or something for that?" I am sure Brommmer would accept a cool million.

Why the extra m? Cause Andrew is so smmmooth?

With Brommer's college BB career nearing an end, it would be fitting for him to go chocolate thunder on the backboard. If that travel against Dayton is my last memory of him on the court, it will be a major brummer.

Brommer gets national attention for backwards shot | Rosemount Town Pages | Rosemount, Minnesota

Article:

Rosemount graduate and Iowa Hawkeyes basketball player Andrew Brommer has been getting nationwide attention this week for a shot he made at practice at Carver Hawkeye Arena that was posted to YouTube Monday. With teammates looking on, the senior threw the ball over his head backwards from the opposite baseline and watched as it sailed high above the court and down into the basket over 80 feet away.

The video appeared on ESPN’s Sportscenter and has since made the rounds on other sports highlight shows and various websites.

Brommer and the Hawkeyes qualfied to play in the National Invitation Tournament that got under way this week.

My last memory of Andrew will always be the Shot.....

Haha he has made like 2 or 3 other shots. Maybe we should have him shoot this way from now on.

I'll always remember him for the Purdue game at CHA when he came into the game and Gary Dolphin said "Andrew Brommer into the game replacing...-whistle- and there's Brommer with the foul"...

I made that up...I'll always remember "The Shot" as well...:D

This is a prime example why you are a frontrunner for the MVP award.
