What a great idea to get Iowa basketball on facebook. Pictures and video of practice will peak interest for sure. Fran's idea no less??? Marble knocked down two threes in one minute 19 seconds.

A great idea indeed and I too am anxious to see this team compete and the Fran era begin. Marble looks like he has a smooth stroke.

I must say that the lasting impression this small segment gave me was are we gonna live and die by the 3 again this year?

Yeah...it would have been nice for him to miss one so we could see the team get out on the break...but in B10 season, I'd gladly just take the 6 points!

Pretty short video so it's hard to tell, but that could very well be. It doesn't seem like our frontcourt will be this team's strength, but I guess we'll know more once the games start. Hopefully between Cole, Basabe, Brommer, McCabe and Archie, we'll have at least a couple guys that can provide a reliable inside presence.

But yeah, we won't be able to shoot THAT many 3's and be successful. We saw how that worked out the last few years.

It was nice to see the team pushing the ball up the court..

Basabe is the tall athletic black guy. McCabe is the tall, not quite as athletic (compared to Basabe) white guy.

In all seriousness, I watched it last night, I think Basbae is the one with the white t-shirt on.

Having watched it again, McCabe is #14 in yellow, Basabe is #15 in black (with white t-shirt), I think #15 in yellow is Stokes. I think Archie is the one off to the side (in yellow)when they are in the near court.
