wondering how many of you heard it on Hawk Central..podcast dropped yesterday. He struck a much different tone. FIrst he apologized for the way he responded to the Q about Oliver martin. Then struck a very modest tone overall. Very interesting.

Didn't hear it, but there's a difference in how you answer a question as a coordinator and how you answer it as a head coach. So, . . .

Just listened and it was pretty insightful about the purpose of scripting/opening plays that we run for people that don't know what it's used for.
 
Good to hear that Brian came back and apologized on the way he answered the Oliver Martin question. The way he originally made his comments came off as insulting Martin. I can’t imagine he meant it the way it sounded.
 
To be honest, BF learned his media bedside manner from the Bill Belichick school of press conferences. That answer was milder than anything that usually gets said in NE's football complex.

I’m sure he heard about it from someone. Probably his wife and then his dad later.
