Does anybody really want to see BF get the offense? Since his time as a "coach" at Iowa, his O-loline has been atrocious. The fundamentals have been damned near non-existent, and they have gotten worse against any team with some speed or a pulse. Let's pray he doesn't do to the entire offense what he's done to that unit.

I still maintain that Ferents will stick around just long enough to have another smoke and mirrors season.....the goodwill it will build with the IDIOTS in charge will compel them to agree that the car keys will be given to Brain...with Ferments stepping down and moving into some other role upstairs that will assure further ruining of the program.

Probably be smart to actually start recruiting kids at their natural positions, and kids that excel at said positions. Look at our line. 2 walk ons, a converted tight end and a few 3 stars. You think Wisconsin would trot out a garbage line like that? I can't believe not all that long ago we were the better program.

Twice this year 1.4 yds per carry.
BF is the run game coordinator and o-line coach.
Can't coach & can't recruit.
Can you imagine if Wadley wasn't in the backfield? Hard to imagine but we'd be worse.

Just explain to me how to do this without drastically changing the scheme and running an option type of offense?
We went heavy on receivers at the expense of the O-line. We whiffed on the receivers and now neither are great.

He was the tight ends coach for the Patriots and you don't think Brian would have ever sniffed a coaching position at a power 5 level college? He may have been given a shot with the Patriots because of his dad, but Belichick wouldn't have promoted him if he couldn't coach.

Never would have had the opportunity if it wasn't for his Dad. Never had to work his way up through the ranks like 99.9% of other coaches.

You are right about getting the opportunity because of his Dad, but no way Belichick promotes him to tight ends coach if he doesn't know what he is doing.
