The Ravens and Redskins cut Brett Van Slotten and Adam Gettis today. I thought Van Slotten was a longshot but Adam Gettis did well last year and everything I heard for this year was positive s this move was surprising to me. I expect Gettis to be picked up by another team.

According to the local paper in Decorah, Van Slotten was injured, which did not help his chances.
