Too bad we can't make Cougill and Brommer into one player-we'd have a fairly complete big then. Coug's shooting and passing skills and Brommer's better defensive skills and relative quickness and hops.
That leads to the question as to which of them can improve in his weaknesses and become a complete player? Can Brommer improve his shooting, passing and footwork etc. or could Cougs slim down, get quicker and stronger etc?
My take is that Brommer has the better chance to become a more complete player (provided he doesn't transfer) here at Iowa. I wouldn't have thought that even a week ago but he at least showed me a pulse, basketball-wise last night. It's easier to learn the shooting skills than to transform yourself dramatically, physically speaking. Not sure Cougs could do that.
