This happened in today's Giants Cowboys game. No wonder the Cowgirls are having so many problems this year. If their D is going to stand around and let someone score... Myers was in the 2009 draft after playing for the Hawkeyes. He was the tight end who caught the pass and made the first down that got us into play for the field goal that beat PSU in 2008. To be fair, the NFL is turning into the "No Fun League" where if you touch a player, a flag is thrown.
I'm sure the two players just assumed he was touched by the other player. Sure, you should never assume that. But what if he was ruled down, then the player jumps on top of him? Flag is thrown for unnecessary roughness.

Dumb play by Dallas but I would say it was a better play by Meyers. He could have just as easily tossed the ball to an official. Thankfully for him, he got up and scored.
