per Marc Morehouse tweet. Apparently failed cardio test. Not sure if that means something wrong with his heart or out of shape? Hope he is OK! I also hope Coker is ready to be the man the whole game next week?

I wonder if he is sick with some type of infection or something that is causing the issue.

per this quote from Marc I'd say there is something wrong with his heart:

PHOENIX – Iowa fullback Brad Rogers will be held out of Iowa’s remaining practices and the Insight Bowl after a cardiology test, Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said Friday.

Sometimes a case of the flu can bring on an irregular heart beat. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Something must of happened for him to be tested. Unless they give all players a physical before the bowl game.

Hope Brad is gonna be okay. So who does this leave us for backup running backs? Do we give White a shot, or do we pull the redshirt off of Johnson? Or do we stick with Coker and try to squeek through with just him?

Coker gets hurt I'm sure it'll be Paki and White and maybe even just Morse on 3rd downs or we just throw the ball. No way we pull a redshirt for one game.

I'm not sure he's really an option. Kirk is a good guy, who isn't going to cut a 5th year senior just because he can't go anymore. Certainly nothing wrong with that. I'm just not sure that Kirk would put him out there with his concussions.

Ferentz mentioned Paki as a backup before this news.

I heard an interesting argument the other day that rs players should b eligible to play in bowl games.

Since the entire Iowa team lacked heart and courage at Minnesota, (Oh Lion and Tin Man where art thou??) shouldn't the entire Iowa team be banned from playing next Tuesday?
