Bowl Practice

Last year Iowa decided to get a little more serious about bowl practice and it sounded like guys like Mitch King really got down to business. They played really well and got a lopsided win against USC. Then, after a slow start against UNI this fall, they showed poise and toughness the entire season.

Its probably fair to say that bowl practice was again pretty intense this year and it was followed by a dominating win. It just makes me wonder if the bowl practices last year made a significant difference in the regular season and if it did, what two years of intense practice and coaching fundamentals might mean. It seems like the coaches haven't wasted these practices and its paying big dividends.
