Boston College running back A.J. Dillon emerged as a powerful force this season, earning first-team All-ACC honors after rushing for 1,432 yards and 14 TDs. So it should be no surprise he earned ACC Offensive Rookie and Overall Rookie of the Year honors. Virginia safety Brenton Nelson earned Defensive Rookie of the Year.
