Everyone remembers ISM and his dominance (rightly so), but Brandon Smith was really impactful in that game coming off back from his high-ankle sprain.

There were negative Nancy's on this board who crowed for three weeks that USC's speed and athleticism and four and five star recruits were going to kill us.

They were the same ones who said Mississippi State would be too physical for us the year before.

Well. ISM was the best athlete on the field. And before the game was over we salted it away with a fifteen play drive and AJ Epenesa knocked a starting QB out of the game for the third time that season.

The Nancy's retreated to their respective bunkers for a long winter's nap.

Bennie Sapp the 3rd intercepted two passes in the Packer win vs Cincinnati. Dad played at Iowa. Kicked off team for too many police encounters. Went to UNI. Had a decent pro career from there. Sapp 1 apparently had a pro career as well. I welcome any corrections in my post.
