Don't follow the girls team that much but with the returning players they had this year aren't they a disapointment. Does Bluder get the best out of her players.

If you "don't follow the team that much," you lose the right to question whether or not the coach is doing her job to a satisfactory level. Bluder's not going anywhere, nor should she at this point.

If you're really interested, you should start following them more.

Last 2 post must be from a couple jerks. Didnt say I don't follow them, just follow the wrestling, football and men's bb more. Just a comment , didn't need responses from ding dongs like the last two.

They do miss Kachine Alexander, who played like a linebacker.....

The Lady Hawks seem to be getting things in place at the right time of the year, and could make a run in the Big Ten tournament as they usually do....

I like Sam Logic running the point. She is a good one who compliments Printy and Wahlin, and make them fun to watch.....

:)

So she's hot???? Cause I know JP is.

Bluder needs to figure out that there are good players out there who live more than 200 miles from Iowa City.

It's tougher to recruit nationally in women's basketball. Especially if you're a coach who is from the Midwest (throughout your career). Bluder doesn't have the kind of presence out east that Stringer had, because Stringer is from PA and built a reputation out east before coming here.

But, with that said, her recruiting has picked up in the past couple years. But expecting her to get us back to the level Stringer had us at is a tall task for almost any coach. Stringer is, IMO, the 2nd best women's coach of all time behind Pat Summitt. Very few coaches can even approach that realm.
