It is pretty amazing to look at the status of where so many of the programs are. Go right down the line they are all nationally pretty high up there and you combine that with all the $ Barta can fund raise from donors and he's got all the ammunition he needs to keep his gig. Every school wishes their top 5 programs were doing this well

Gary has to be a wonderful boss to work for.....with certain exceptions of course. Gives out extension like candy at Halloween.....but the Bluder and Brands ones are deserved.

IMO- all these extensions are long term planning.
New president may have told Barta to get house lined up.
Barta to retire/replaced in 6-18 months. Multiple lawsuits still in play.
Extensions gives new AD some stability and chance to get settled.
2026-28 will see major coaching changes due to age.
