Blackhawks Win Cup!

Awesome win last night by the Blackhawks to capture the cup. Kaners was a menace all night in the offensive zone, and finally it paid off in OT. The commentators really botched the final call, though.
It was interesting to see Roenick choke up in the post-game. It's too bad his Blackhawk team never won one, but I like this Blackhawk team just as much. That was a sweet moment when Toews handed the cup over to Hossa, killing the Hossa curse for good.
It really was a valiant effort out of the Flyers, but in the end, it was clear that Chicago was the better team.

I totally missed the goal as I had looked away, or dozed off. The did not catch the call by the announcers either. Just saw Kane going down the ice celebrating, then I knew it was over. Great win by the Blackhawks. Being a Blues' fan, it is tough to say this, but I am glad that Chicago got the Cup!

It was a great series! Amazing win, the shot that won it by Kane it was such a tough angle I didn't notice we made it till I saw Kane jumpin around lol.

Everyone was WTF-ing because they couldn't see the puck and they couldn't believe it'd be in the net because there's no way Leighton could have given up a goal from that angle.

What a win, and what a season! Seeing Roenick tear up darn near had me bawling, too. I loved those Blackhawk teams he played on. The next goal for the franchise...not stopping at one Cup, but turning this thing into a dynasty!

The JR scene had a lot of people in near tears. I was listening to ESPN 1000 today and they had clips of JR talking to a Philly radio station and he said he would have done the same if the Flyers would have won. No way in ****!

I agree. JR will always be a Blackhawk at heart.
