BJ Armstrong to Kings

Given BJ's standing in the NBA and experience, surprised he has not gotten a full GM job. Hopefully that is coming for him. Great to see him paired up with Murray. Go Hawks.

Interesting gig for him to be taking on... He'd been an agent for quite awhile based out of the LA area. I'd assume he can't continue doing that with the conflict of interest that'd be. So he'll have to cut ties with that agency he'd been with. I'm really curious about the career change for him at this stage of his life. Seems really out of left field to me.

Now we gotta hope he can help turn that putrid franchise around with Keegan. Before hearing this I'd been hoping Keegan could get out of there. They took a step back this yr maybe more like 2. Dealing off Fox and firing their coach didn't seem like very good moves to me.

It seem like BJ's name has been thrown out there when potential Hawk coaches are being listed but nothing ever very serious. I always figured he was set for life financially with this NBA and sports agent experience.

He must want to get involved in putting together an NBA team. Sacramento should be a good place to learn. They are hungry to contend and seem like just a player or two away from doing that. If he can help evaluate talent they can bring in, he'll be worth his weight in gold.

BJ is King. One of the best all-around point guards to ever wear an Iowa uniform. If Fran could have recruited point guards like BJ he would still be coaching at Iowa and have several sweet-16's under his belt.
Tyler Ulis was the one that got away it seemed like for Fran. Not that we had the best chance of ever really landing him. Fran was just in on him early. But when MSU and Kentucky got involved later in the process Fran was pretty much out. Had Fran landed him good gravy that coulda changed a lot for Iowa both at that time and since then.
