If memory is correct...Iowa was up by two about 12 minutes left. Iowa has the ball with about 18 in shot clock and was not real productive on offense. Fran calls a timeout and sets up a play. White comes off the backside into the paint, is fed the ball and stuffs it......IMO that play spelled the downfall of Penn State.....Great win!!!!

That certainly was a damn good timeout. Another big play was RDM's 3 from the corner. He essentially said, I'm here...let's go. And they did.

Hats off to Fran and the team on the OPs choice; but I'd also pick this play.

IIRC, this play happened very late in the shot clock and PSU was playing very good D during this possession. Mikey G got open and PSU didn't rotate over in time. I think it was a big boost for us; and a bit of a morale drain for them.

I'm a huge supporter of Fran, but when White made that dunk, the first thing that popped into my head was "Why didn't Fran use his timeouts to set something up in those games when we had the long droughts?"

My exact thoughts in previous games. Call a TO set up something that gets us back on track. I felt the use of the TO in this possession changed the flow of the game.

Pretty sure this was with about 5 minutes left and Iowa leading 60-55 or something like that.
