BIG12 vs BIG10

I am bored at work, and had a co-worker bring up this question.

"Who do you think would win in head to head match ups with BIG12 vs. BIG10 according to the standings." This includes OSU and PSU. These are what we came up with.

Kansas State vs. Ohio State : I would take OSU.

Oklahoma vs. Nebraska : After Nebraska's last game.... I take Oklahoma.

Texas vs. Michigan: I like Michigan in this game.

Oklahoma State vs. Northwestern: Probably a lot closer then you think. But I go with Oklahoma State.

Texas Tech vs. Penn State : I think this is pretty even. I am leaning at PSU.

TCU vs. Wisconsin : Wisconsin would win this!

Baylor vs. Michigan State : Baylor by 30

West Virginia vs. Purdue : West Virginia by 40

Iowa State vs. Indiana : This might be closer also, but I will take ISU.

Kansas vs. Iowa : Shut up...i am taking Iowa!

5-5 I understand that this is not all that fair of a comparison, as Illinois is not playing in it, and neither is Minnesota.

Do I think the BIG TEN is as good as the BIG12? No, but looking at these, I think there are some fun games in there.

I believe KSU would beat OSU. But I also believe Indiana would be at ISU. Not a hater, just my opinion.

Kansas State vs. Ohio State : Toss Up

Oklahoma vs. Nebraska : Oklahoma

Texas vs. Michigan: Texas

Oklahoma State vs. Northwestern: OSU

Texas Tech vs. Penn State : Tech -- PSU can't keep up.

TCU vs. Wisconsin : TCU --Wisconsin played ONE good game this year, just happened to be the B1G championship.

Baylor vs. Michigan State : Baylor

West Virginia vs. Purdue : West Virginia

Iowa State vs. Indiana : ISU

Kansas vs. Iowa : Iowa

b1G would maybe be 1-9. The strength of the B1G will once again be evident in their bowl performances.

The big12 was seriously over-rated at the beginning of the year.

Agreed. Lots of average teams in that conference. The conference did not have a single impressive non-conf win. Unlike the B10 who had 3 wins over BCS top 25 teams.

This is why ISU fans are hard to talk to. As though ISU is some super powerful team that would never lose to an average team, like West Virginia, or Texas Tech. Indiana played Iowa better than ISU did. If I had money on the line, I'd pick ISU, but it's very debatable.

My pics are very close to yours as well meaning basically both conferences suck the big dong. SEC and PAC whatever are where it's at anymore.

Indiana went 4-8 against a terribly weak schedule. Four and eight. I guess they did edge out powerhouse Indiana State by 7 though. That's pretty good.

I see you are debating it :). Again, Indiana played Iowa better than ISU did, that's all I'm saying. Hanging your hat on a victory over an average team that had 3 days to prepare their freshman QB, doesn't make ISU very good. You guys beat nobody good, including Iowa (we stunk), TCU, and Baylor.

OMG, are people seriously saying Indiana could beat the clownz? Indiana???

This is a pretty arrogant stance.
