Big time seats for a small time fan.

Can someone please explain to me how its possible to get tickets to a big time bowl game "between the 30's" at face value? Do I have to work for CitiBank? I have huge respect for JM and Hawkeyenation, but if I am going to spend 3K on a package, I would rather sleep in my car spooning a $2,500 ticket on the 50 yard line while spending the other $500 for gas, beer (not in the car tho), and In-N-Out Burger!

In-N-Out Burger is the BEST! Don't know about the rest of your plan.
You could do a "land only" package with Jon and drive out which should
reduce the price.
